The beautiful eco-friendly Msandile River Lodge is located on the banks of the Luangwa River overlooking a busy wildlife crossing point. The park contains over 100 species of mammals including lion, leopard, buffalo, Thornicroft giraffe, Cook- son wildebeest, zebra, elephant and hippo. Experience an amazing untouched wilderness, extensive wild- and birdlife and capture the true feeling of Africa.
On the Msandile River Lodge property you find a refreshing pool overlooking the majestic Luangwa River, a contemporarily designed main lounge area and a dinning area.
Msandile River lodge offers accommodation in Luxury Chalets, En-Suite Safari Tents and Standard Safari Tents.
All accommodation is overlooking the Luangwa River, close to an elephants crossing point and are standing under a tree cover to provide extra shade.
Every Chalet is fitted with a double king seize bed with crisp linen and bedding, a large box seize mosquito net, a cupboard, table plus chair, fan, a couch and two comfortable relaxing chairs. The spacious bathroom has a large inside shower and all amenities provided.
Every En-Suite Tent is fitted with a double king seize bed with crisp linen and bedding, a large box seize mosquito net, a cupboard, table chair, fan and two comfortable relaxing chairs. The bathroom has an inside and outside shower and all amenities provided.
Every Standard Tent is fitted with two single beds with crisp linen and bedding, a large box seize mosquito net, a small cupboard, a fan and two comfortable chairs.
A spacious ablution block is situated behind the standard tents with showers and toilets and all amenities provided.
The Msandile River lodge established their own private crossing point over the Luangwa River into the National Park. The crossing is only a short distance away from the lodge and allows guests to enter the park quickly. Giving such a head start gives us the benefit to be most of the time the first visitors to arrive at beautiful wildlife surrounded areas and special sightings.
We cross into the National Park with our own River boats after which you will continue with our gamedrives vehicles inside the National Park.
