Home > Safaris > Kiboko Malawi in a Day Experience One-day safari via the traditional Dedza pottery over the last remainders  of the great African Rift Valley to the famous Mua Mission and Museum. We continue after this visit to the wonderful Lake Malawi where  we spent the afternoon at the comfortable Livingstonia Beach  hotel in Senga Bay. Contact me about this safari.     08.00 AM Pick up from Lilongwe and drive to Dedza. Visit the pottery and have a tour around the workshop and pottery shop. 10.00 AM Drive over the beautiful Dedza pass with spectacular sceneries over villages and mountain ridges to Mua a small town on the other side of the last remainders of the rift valley escarpment. 11.00 AM Stop at the Mua Mission and Museum. The history of the Malawian culture is well exposed in the museum and main tribes of Malawi as the Chewa, the Ngoni and the Yao are well indicated. Have our packed lunch on the compound of the Mission. 01.00 PM Drive toward Senga bay and stop by the beautiful white-sanded beaches of the Livingstonia beach hotel. Options to swim, snorkel or sail on the beautiful blue waters of Lake Malawi. Have a cool drink or snack at the restaurant of Livinstonia beach hotel before we drive back to Lilongwe. 04.00 PM  Drive back to Lilongwe. Stop for a short visit at some of the best wood craft markets in Malawi and arrive back in Lilongwe around 06.30 PM. Contact me about this safari.
