IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Please be advised that the payment for the visa fees into Zambia at the border of Zambia has to be done in US dollar cash only (Credit cards, Travelers cheques and any other means will not be accepted).
- A Yellow Fever certificate is required to travel into Zambia
- Payment for the safari by Credit Card will not be accepted on the day of the departure, be sure to submit your Credit Card payment at least 3 days before the departure of your safari otherwise you will not be able to travel. Please check our payment options form for more detailed information
Kiboko Zambia Experience Safari Checklist
- Sleeping bag (* not required for the South Luangwa NP Experience)
- Sunglasses
- Sun Lotion
- Mosquito repellent (preferably containing DEET)
- Toilet articles
- Towel (* not required for the South Luangwa NP Experience)
- Neutral colored comfortable clothing for warm weather, but also long trousers and long sleeved shirts for the night and mosquito bite preventions.
- Warm sweater for the evenings
- Light rain jacket for the sometimes damp mornings
- A cap for the sun
- Swimming costume
- Some comfortable strong shoes (sandals and closed shoes).
- Water bottle (a used plastic water bottle will do)
- Torch
- Passport
- Pen
- Yellow fever certificate
- Money (cash, tc’s or credit card) for optional activities and personal expenses
- Camera
- Lots of film rolls / digital memory
- A book or magazine for during the road transfers
- Malaria prophylaxes (Please consult your doctor or tropical health centre)
- Let us know in advance if you have any dietary requirements (please refer to our booking conditions for more details)
- Visa if needed for Malawi and Zambia*
* Please be advised that the (free of charge) visa exemption arrangement, as previous used by Zambian tour operators has been changed by the Zambian Immigration Department at present and that all tourist traveling into Zambia should have their visa obtained at the border or arranged in advance. More detailed information can be obtained from you nearest Zambian Embassy. Please let us know if any more information is required.
