 Spend your days relaxing on the beach at Senga Bay and soaking up the warm African sun or mingle with the local comunity at the lively markets bartering for the best of Malawi’s locally produced hand crafts.
If you need a break from beach life hiking in the surrounding bush land is an option or take an excursion to the unique Hippo pool, or Tropical Fish Farm to discover what lives in the depths of the lake. Or experience first hand the lake life by swimming, snorkelling or diving all of which can be organised from the luxury of our beach camp site.

Day 1 (Friday)
Depart from Kiboko Campsite in Lilongwe at 12.30 PM. Head straight for the beach taking the road directly to Senga Bay via Salima stopping on route to buy refreshments. Set up camp on the shores of Lake Malawi in the peaceful setting alongside the Livingstonia Beach Hotel. Spend the afternoon exploring the surroundings or relax watching the sunset over Lake Malawi. Dinner that evening will be served around our campfire.
Day 2 (Saturday)
After breakfast you can enjoy relaxing on the beach or exploring the unique rock formations around the camp by foot. Snorkeling, diving or a relaxing boat trip can also be arranged. Following lunch at the camp, visit Stuart Grant’s Tropical Fish Farm, here you can view the infamous cichlids of Lake Malawi. Then try your hand at bartering in the traditional craft market on route back to camp. Once back you’ll have time to swim or head to the Livingstonia Beach Hotel for sundowners before dinner.
Day 3 (Sunday)
Breakfast will be served on the beach before heading off to explore the Hippo pool. Or spend your last morning relaxing or for those who could not make up their mind, a second visit to the traditional craft market is also possible. Lunch will be served at the camp before leaving in the late afternoon. Arrival back in Lilongwe is scheduled for 17:00 at Kiboko Campsite.
